OH YOU BETTER BELIEVE THERE IS DOCTOR/ROSE CONTENT.

I will post again when my thoughts have had time to crystallize beyond WAHHOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.

THE DOCTOR AND ROSE WERE HAPPY FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 SECONDS! \o/

Also, I am prepared to bet that it's a fake-out regeneration:
1. Way too anticlimactic for DT to leave before the actual finale.
2. He's in the specials!
3. No universe would be this cruel to me.
4. The BBC can be, on occasion, good at keeping secrets, but not THIS GOOD.
5. *wibbles*

Ok. I've been flip-flopping between wanting DT to stay for Moffat's series, because David Tennant is my obsession and I'm madly in love right now, and wanting him to leave because I don't want Moffat to ruin my image of Ten.
But this near (OR POSSIBLY ACTUAL) death experience has put things into perspective for me:
OMG DUN LEEV!!!1!!1

Good rumors I've heard:
JOHN SIMM HOLY FUCK. Completely unconfirmed and hearsay, but hey, what's a little more hope to be dashed, after all?
Also, the Master and the Doctor swapping bodies, which would be, to encompass the idea in a single word, kinky.
Two Doctors (which I consider good because it's David Tennant x 2, duh.)
Alternate universe (which would be cool, because then we get to see Eleven, but then he can go away for a while too, after the universe is fixed)
Eccleston again, which would be WTF-inducing, but also AWESOME.
Eccleston, McGann AND Tennant, which would make my life complete.

*knocks the fuck on wood*

Ok Rose?
I loved her here. You could see the old Rose shining through, and I thought the slight bit of jealousy when she couldn't talk to the Doctor, but Martha could, was adorable and in character, but in an awesome way that made me love her more because YAY REALISM. Though I would love it if her and Martha got on, like her and Sarah Jane did midway through School Reunion.
And OMG the Doctor going "Rose?" when the screen went staticky, because you KNOW that during this episode there was only ONE thing on his mind. Well, maybe a BIT about saving the world, but it was mostly Rose. ;)

And on that, how awesome was the scene from the trailer? "Isn't that good?" "Yeah."
It looked even better with more context than it did in the trailer. DT delivered that line so well, you could just see the emotion when he said "yeah."

Although, surprisingly, I cried at no point during this episode. I screamed quite a bit, I yelled things at the screen, and I ate a giant bowl of icecream right after, but I didn't cry.
But then, I cry less at sad things, and more at happy things: there were tears in my eyes when the Doctor turned and saw Rose and the MUSIC started playing, but no crying. More just chest-tightening and inability to breathe.

If they get a happy ending, or a happy scene at all? I probably WILL cry. And it will be epic.

Ok, that's all that I can think of to say. I'm going to go consume some alcohol and forget that the word "regeneration" even exists. Or, more likely, dwell on it until I fall asleep in the wee (or not so wee) hours of the morning.

OH GOD NEXT SATURDAY IS A WHOLE WEEK AWAY. D:
